New Quay win Bay Cup
A deflected David Evans effort barely three minutes from the end clinched the Bay Cup for New Quay at the expense of Lampeter.
In an exciting final that could have gone either way Lampeter did the early running and took the lead midway through the first half when Osian Williams headed home from a corner.
They had a glorious chance to extend their lead two minutes after the turnaround when a James Gudgeon shot was only frantically cleared off the line.
From then on New Quay came more into the game and following a period of pressure desevedly equalised through Jonathan Evans.
Mark Wilkins then struck the bar for Lampeter before Craig Richardson at the other end, forced keeper Gregson into an excellent save.
Extra time loomed large but from an incisive left sided move the ball fell perfectly for David Evans whose looping effort off an opposing defender gave Gregson no chance in the Lampeter goal.

Congratulations Maesglas!
Maesglas won the Division One Championship in fine style with an emphatic win over Llandysul.
From the moment Chris Jones gave them a fifth minute lead the result was never in doubt. Phil Furney netted the second from the far post and with Jones adding a penalty for his side's third before the interval it was almost time to uncork the champagne.
After the turnaround there was a second for Furney and one each for Mathew Smith and Reuben Wells whilst Huw Evans bagged Llandysul's sole reply from the penalty spot.
